About

A reporting practice built for PE calendars

Portalhorizoncore exists so private equity sponsors can send coherent LP packs without standing up a permanent analytics desk for every fund vintage.

Origin

The practice began in Hong Kong after years of watching investment teams rebuild the same NAV bridges and company scorecards under quarter-end pressure. Partners needed clearer exhibits; IR needed calmer language; administrators already held the numbers. What was missing was a dedicated reporting craft between those worlds.

We still work that seam: private equity portfolio reporting and fund performance analytics prepared as engagements, reviewed with your team, and delivered as files you own.

How we work

Definitions first, design second. We lock KPI glossaries and bridge line items before we draw charts. Draft packs go to investment teams for challenge, then to IR for LP tone. We stay available through the distribution window when a late company pack forces a partial update.

People

Client leads come from PE reporting and IR backgrounds. Analysts are comfortable in administrator extracts, capital accounts, and portfolio company packs. We do not replace your auditor or fund administrator; we make their outputs readable for the audiences that decide capital and reputation.

Values we keep visible

Source honesty

Every bridge line and scorecard cell should map to an extract a partner can open.

Calendar respect

Buffers and partial updates beat heroic overnight edits that hide risk.

LP clarity

Internal depth stays available; external language stays calm and specific.
